Our Program is designed for preschool students who have been identified by the Committee on Preschool Education (CPSE) of the New York City Department of Education as having a disability pursuant to section 4410 of Article 89 of the Education Law. Any services provided are based on the individual needs of the preschool student as determined by the (CPSE). Services may be provided at the location selected by the parent and can include but are not limited to, Head Starts, Universal Pre-Kindergartens, Day Care programs and in some cases the home. Parents are responsible for arranging and paying for the costs of any childcare. Special education services are at no direct cost to the parent; funding is provided through county taxes and state funds.
